How to use

As a herbal powder, methi is traditionally stirred into water or warm milk; in cooking, it gives curries, dal and pickles their nutty, slightly bitter flavour. Follow the directions on the jar, and ask a doctor how much is right for you before taking it every day.

Safety

Large amounts of fenugreek are not recommended during pregnancy. Fenugreek may lower blood sugar, so ask a doctor first if you take medicine for diabetes or to thin your blood. People allergic to peanuts or chickpeas can react to fenugreek. Supothyo powders are foods, not medicines, and are not meant to diagnose, treat or cure any disease.

Storage

Keep the jar tightly closed in a cool, dry place, away from sunlight and moisture, and use a dry spoon.
